Inheritance tax
Inheritance tax was abolished in the Czech Republic in 2014.

Although the income from inheritance is subject to income tax under Act on Income Taxes No. 586/1992, it is expressly exempt from tax under Section 4a.
Inheritance appears to be a cheap way of transferring property between individuals - and a good alternative to donation which is taxed in some cases. However, there are costs to succession proceedings that have to been taken into account - notably by the reward of the notary public appointed by court.
